MathCup.com generally requires little collection of personal information. In signing up, we require your email address and a username that you select. You will also select a password, which is needed to log on. We also require you to state your are a parent or teacher, or a student, for tailed services. Your first and last name is not mandatory at sign-up.
Your email address is used to confirm your username and password and used to recover a password. We further use the email addresses to send updates and news about MathCup Academy Inc. We will not share your email address with third parties except when needed for the operation of our mailing list or when required by law.
Our site has forums. The inherent public nature of these sites dictates that MathCup Academy assumes no responsibility for protecting the information disclosed on them by users. Please exercise caution when disclosing personal information in public forums.

(d) Children using our site may post personal information about themselves, for example, in a forum post, accessible by the public, or on moments, accessible by friends. MathCup Academy cannot prevent such post but parents can ask MathCup Academy to delete such information.
(e) We generally do not collect personal information from a child until we have received verifiable parental consent in accordance with COPPA. There are limited instances where we may collect information without parental consent in compliance with COPPA, including the email address and username during sign-up.
