Founded by math enthusiasts and parents who believe every student deserves the chance to find math genuinely exciting.
MathCup Academy was founded by a small group of math enthusiasts and parents. Professionally, we work across a range of industries — but we share a lasting love of problem solving, and many of us still spend our free time working through challenging high school and college-level competition mathematics, simply because we enjoy it.
As parents, we noticed the same gap again and again: many students find little challenge in their school's math curriculum, and over time, that lack of challenge turns into a lack of interest. It's a disconnect from a world that increasingly rewards exactly the kind of independent problem-solving that a rote curriculum rarely teaches.
We started MathCup Academy to close that gap — to make rigorous problem-solving feel genuinely fun, and to give students the chance to discover what they're capable of when a subject actually challenges them.
